'Roller Blind' Style Finger Guards.

Automated doors are best matched with 'roller blind' style finger guards: these guards are also suitable for normal manual operation.

Automatic doors are often external doors and the materials and construction of the finger guard needs to take account of weathering. If they are also very busy doors the guard needs to stand up to constant use with minimal maintenance.

It may be that the door will be manually operated but must blend in with an architectural design, for example a 'steel and glass' look. The guard housings can also be matched to any RAL colour (subject to special order).

Two finger guards we offer that are sutable for automatic doors are durable yet stylish and tested to high duty cycles are the Retractor and the Premier.

The Retractor version is slimmer than the Premier version, which has a more sculpted housing and is tested to a higher duty cycle (1 million open/close cycles).
